Anthony Della Pella

Graduate Student, University of Michigan

Anthony Della Pella is a fourth year graduate student at the University of Michigan. In his undergraduate years, Anthony did analysis on root finding methods for the Bergman kernel function in hopes of expanding on the Lu Qi Kang conjecture. During his first year of graduate school, Anthony worked on problems in theoretical machine learning. More recently, Anthony has been working with Alexander Barvinok on finding zero free domains of partition functions. They utilize these partition functions to approximate solutions to otherwise difficult combinatorial problems. They have also implemented one of the algorithms to affirm their theoretical results.
