Andrew Zhao

Andrew is currently a staff scientist at Sandia National Laboratories, where he is a member of the Quantum Algorithms and Applications Collaboratory (QuAAC). Previously, he was a Gil Herrera Postdoctoral Fellow at Sandia, after obtaining his PhD in Physics at the University of New Mexico in 2024. He is broadly interested in quantum information theory, including learning theory, simulating quantum physics and chemistry, and many-body complexity.
