Alexander Lindermayr

Postdoctoral Researcher,
University of Bremen

Alexander Lindermayr is a postdoc in the group of Nicole Megow at the University of Bremen in Germany. Alex received his PhD under supervision of Nicole Megow in 2024. His research interests lie in discrete mathematics, combinatorial optimization, and algorithms. In particular, he works on online and approximation algorithms for scheduling and network design problems. Another field of Alex' research are learning-augmented algorithms, where the goal is to optimally utilize possibly imprecise information given by ML models in algorithm design to obtain provable performance guarantees.
