Writing About Technical Topics for a General Audience

The Simons Institute's Scientific Communicator in Residence and acclaimed bestselling author Brian Christian will be leading a workshop on writing about technical topics for a general audience. He'll share some of the basic ideas and principles that guide his own writing and take questions on any and all aspects of writing for a broad audience, from pitches to editors to publishers and beyond. In addition, all Simons Institute participants are welcome to submit texts of their own to receive a close reading, including short group discussion and live feedback from Brian.
