Machine Learning at Netflix and Open Challenges

Machine learning powers almost every part of the Netflix experience. Aish Fenton, who is manager of the recommender and rankings algorithms team, will discuss Netflix's approach to machine learning and applied research. He'll also present some open problems that are being worked on at Netflix with the hope to inspire further research into these areas.
