Yi Xin

Dr. Yi Xin is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the California Institute of Technology. She received her PhD and MA in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University, and her BA in Economics and BS in Psychology from Peking University. Her research interests lie primarily in empirical industrial organization and econometrics. Dr. Yi Xin's work has focused on understanding the channels through which asymmetric information and economic mechanisms impact the operation of online markets, and on developing econometric techniques that enable empirical studies of these markets.
