Yanyi Liu

Graduate Student, Cornell University

Yanyi is a PhD student in Computer Science at Cornell Tech. He is advised by Prof. Rafael Pass and Prof. Elaine Shi. His research interests lie in cryptography and its interplay with computational complexity. His recent research focuses on basing cryptography on standard complexity-theoretic assumptions (and ultimately, on the worst-case hardness of NP).

He received his bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University.
