Wolfgang Stephan

Professor, Ludwig-Maximilian-University Munich

From 1989 to 1997 Wolfgang Stephan was Assistant and Associate Professor at the University of Maryland, College Park and then Professor at the University of Rochester. Since 2000 he has been Professor and Chair at the LMU Munich, Germany. His research interests are in theoretical and empirical population genetics, and in particular the modeling and inference of natural selection in the genome of eukaryotes.
