Walaa Moursi

Walaa Moursi received her PhD in optimization in December 2016 from the University of British Columbia, under the supervision of Heinz Bauschke and Warren Hare. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Calgary, hosted by Yuriy Zinchenko. After her research fellowship at Simons institute, she will start a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University. Walaa's research interests include convex analysis, monotone operator theory, projections methods and splitting techniques.
