Tyler Helmuth

Tyler Helmuth received his PhD in probability theory from the University of British Columbia in 2015, advised by David Brydges. Before starting his current position as an NSERC postdoctoral fellow in the mathematics department at UC Berkeley, he was a postdoctoral fellow for the semester program, Phase Transitions and Emergent Properties at ICERM, as well as a visiting researcher at Universität Bonn. His research interests focus on statistical mechanics and probability theory, in particular models involving excluded volume effects.
