Suresh Venkatasubramanian is the John and Marva Warnock Assistant Professor at the School of Computing, University of Utah. He completed his PhD in 1999 at Stanford, and spent several years at AT&T Labs-Research before going to Utah. His interests include algorithms, computational geometry and data mining. Currently, his research focuses on the computational challenges associated with data mining on very large data sets and understanding the high dimensional geometry of data.
