Suguru Tamaki obtained his PhD in 2006 from Kyoto University. After working as a postdoctoral researcher, he is now an assistant professor in the Graduate School of Informatics at Kyoto University. Tamaki's research interests are mainly in algorithms and computation theory. He is currently working on design and analysis of exact and approximation algorithms, hardness of approximation and complexity of propositional proof systems.
