Subhadip Mukherjee
Subhadip completed his Bachelor of Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, in 2010. He did his master's in Signal Processing from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in 2012. He was the recipient of I.S.N. Murthy medal for being the best student in his class. He went on to pursue his PhD on sparsity-regularized inverse problems and successfully defended his thesis in September 2018. He was awarded the highly competitive Tata Consultancy Services PhD fellowship award during his PhD and his thesis got the best thesis (honorary mention) award in the International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (SPCOM), 2020, held in Bangalore. After completing his PhD, he joined the imaging group at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology), Sweden, where he worked on deep-learning-based reconstruction methods for inverse problems (2018-2020). He is currently a postdoc research associate at the Cambridge Image Analysis group, University of Cambridge, UK. His research interests include areas at the intersection of deep learning, inverse problems, optimization, and statistical signal processing.
