Steven Low
Professor, California Institute of Technology
Steven Low is a Professor in the Department of Computing & Mathematical Sciences and the Department of Electrical Engineering at Caltech, and holds honorary professorships in Australia and China. Before that, he was with AT&T Bell Laboratories (in Murray Hill, NJ), and the University of Melbourne (in Australia). He has been a co-recipient of IEEE best paper awards, and is an IEEE Fellow. His research on communication networks has been accelerating more than 1TB of Internet traffic every second since 2014. His current research focuses on power systems. He received his BS from Cornell and PhD from Berkeley, both in EE.
