Shishir Patil

Shishir is a third year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at UC Berkeley advised by Prof. Joseph Gonzalez and Prof. Prabal Dutta. He is broadly interested in systems for machine learning, and machine learning for the edge. He is affiliated with the RISE Lab, Lab11, and Berkeley AI Research (BAIR).
Previously, he spent two wonderful years as a Research Fellow at Microsoft Research India, where he was advised by Prateek Jain from the Machine Learning and Optimization Group, Harsha Vardhan Simhadri and Vivek Seshadri from the Systems Group.
