Shantanu Prasad Burnwal

Shantanu Prasad Burnwal is currently a PhD scholar in the electrical engineering department at the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. He is working under the guidance of Mathukumalli Vidyasagar. Finding techniques for matrix completion is his PhD thesis. He completed his master's from the same institute in electrical engineering in 2016. Before that, he worked in Surface Robotics Lab of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, Durgapur, as a project fellow, and at Sikkim Breweries Ltd. as a trainee instrumentation engineer. He obtained his bachelor's from the West Bengal University of Technology in electronics and instrumentation engineering. He is interested in machine learning, compressed sensing, sparse signal processing, and control systems.
