Murray Sherman is Professor and Chair of the Department of Neurobiology at the University of Chicago. He holds a B.S. from the California Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania; he also has an Honorary M.A. from Oxford University. His research is centered on the functional properties of thalamocortical interactions.
