Roshan Shariff

Roshan Shariff is a PhD student at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, working with Csaba Szepesvári. His research interests include machine learning, reinforcement learning, and related areas of mathematics and statistics. He is currently working on the theory of reinforcement learning, especially on provably efficient algorithms based on online learning and optimization. In the past, he has also worked on bandit algorithms, differential privacy, and Monte Carlo methods.
