Raúl García-Patrón Sánchez

Raul Garcia-Patron is a FNRS (Belgian Research Council) Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Quantum Information and Communication of the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He was previously an Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellow in the Theory group of the Max-Planck Institute of Quantum Optics from 2011 to 2013. Before that he spent three years as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Electronics Research Laboratory at MIT. He obtained his PhD in 2007 from Université Libre de Bruxelles under the supervision of Nicolas J. Cerf. His current research lies mostly in the areas of quantum communication, quantum cryptography and the interplay between quantum computational complexity and photonics.
