
Rajmohan Rajaraman
Rajmohan Rajaraman is a professor and the associate dean of faculty
affairs in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern
University, Boston. His research is in online and approximation
algorithms and distributed computing, with a focus on problems that
model modern architectures and input uncertainty. He has made
contributions to distributed hash tables, scheduling theory, facility
location, and network design. He has held visiting research positions
in industry, including at Akamai Technologies, Google Research, and
Cambridge Mobile Telematics. He has earned an NSF Career Award, best
paper awards at SPAA, PODC, ICDCS, SIROCCO, and WiSec, and a Khoury
College Best Teacher award. He currently serves as a member of the
CCC Council of CRA.
