Pietro Caputo

Pietro Caputo is a Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Physics at Università Roma Tre, Italy. He obtained his PhD in Mathematics from Technische Universität Berlin in 2000. Since then, he has held several visiting positions, including a one-year professorship at the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Miller Visiting Professorship at the University of California, Berkeley, in 2022. Caputo’s main research interests include functional inequalities, random graphs, random matrices, Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithms, and the probabilistic analysis of statistical physics models.
