Petr Jezek

Postdoctoral Researcher, UC Berkeley

Petr Jezek earned a PhD in computer science from the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of West Bohemia in 2012. He then worked as a Junior Researcher in the New Technologies for the Information Society research center, at the same University. Currently he is a postdoc at the Redwood Center for Theoretical Neuroscience at UC Berkeley.

His research interests include Semantic Web in the domain of electrophysiology experiments, development of infrastructures for management, and sharing and storing of experimental data/metadata. His interests also encompass the mapping of common programming technologies to Semantic Web technologies.

He has experience in software development, through several years' work in software companies.
