Peter Orbanz
Professor, University College London
Peter is a Professor of Machine Learning in the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit at University College London.
He studies large systems of dependent variables in machine learning and inference problems. That involves symmetry and group invariance properties, such as exchangeability and stationarity, random graphs and random structures, hierarchies of latent variables, and the intersection of ergodic theory and statistical physics with statistics and machine learning.
