Pascal Van Hentenryck
Professor, Georgia Institute of Technology
Pascal Van Hentenryck is the A. Russell Chandler III Chair and Professor in the H. Milton Steward School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He led the Optimization Research Group (about 70 people) at National ICT Australia (NICTA) from 2012 until its merger into CSIRO. Van Hentenryck was also a professor of Computer Science at Brown University for about 20 years. He grew up in Belgium and studied at the University of Namur and the European Computer-Industry Research centre in Germany.
