Parthe Pandit

Parthe is a postdoc at UCSD where he works with Misha Belkin and Arya Mazumdar. HIs research focuses on understanding the interplay between generalization and optimization in Machine Learning.
He defended his PhD thesis in ECE at UCLA in 2021 where he worked with Alyson Fletcher, Sundeep Rangan, and Arash Amini. He also has an MS in Statistics from UCLA, and a BTech and MTech degree in EE from IIT Bombay, with a minor in CS. Between 2015-2017 he worked with Sam Coogan and Ankur Kulkarni.
