Okko Makkonen is a graduate student at Aalto University, Finland, under the supervision of Professor Camilla Hollanti. His research interests include applications of coding theory in information-theoretically secure distributed computing as well as applications in federated learning. He obtained the BSc (Tech.) and MSc (Tech.) degrees in mathematics from Aalto University in 2021 and 2022.
