Nithish Kumar Kumar is a 3rd year PhD student at Purdue University working with Prof. Elena Grigorescu. His research interests lie in theoretical computer science, especially graph algorithms, network design, and operations research with a focus on graph spanners and a number of their extensions. His work also includes unifying graph spanners with other problems in network design such as Steiner forests and the Buy at bulk network design problem.
