Mohammad Amin Ghiasi

Mohammad Amin Ghias is a PhD student in Theoretical Computer Science at the University of Maryland, advised by Professor Mohammad Taghi Hajiaghayi. He had the honor of participating in the ACM-ICPC World Finals (2018), and received a gold and a bronze medal at the INOI (Iranian National Olympiad in Informatics).

Mohammad Amin completed his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering at the Sharif University of Technology. His bachelor thesis was titled "Approximate Competitive Equilibrium in Fisher Markets with Generic Budgets." This led to his research on micro-economics, algorithmic game theory and mechanism design.
