Mirabel is a PhD student in the School of Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology. She is interested in mathematically tractable models for computation with neurons, and particularly studies the use of random graphs to model the connectome. She is also interested more generally in the interplay between human and machine learning and computation. She is advised by Dr. Santosh Vempala.
