Matthias Köppe is a full professor of Mathematics at UC Davis, where he currently also serves as the chair of the Graduate Group in Applied Mathematics. He received his PhD in Mathematics in 2002 from the University of Magdeburg, Germany, and joined the faculty of UC Davis in 2008. Among his professional duties, he serves as an associate editor for Mathematical Programming A.
