Marek Elias is a PhD student in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Eindhoven University of Technology, his supervisor is Nikhil Bansal. He received his Masters degree at Charles university in Prague, and joined TU Eindhoven in 2014. His main interests are online algorithms, approximation algorithms and combinatorial optimization.
