Marc Fischlin

Professor, TU Darmstadt

Marc Fischlin is Professor for Cryptography and Complexity Theory at the Technische Universität Darmstadt. The professorship is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) as part of the Heisenberg Program. Before joining the University in Darmstadt, Marc held various postdoctoral positions at research institutes, such as the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure IT, UCSD and ETH Zurich. Marc is Principal Investigator for the Center for Advanced Security Research Darmstadt (CASED), one of the largest IT security research centers in Europe, as well as for the EC SPRIDE competence center for IT security, which is also located at the University of Darmstadt. Marc also acts as deputy speaker for the recently created collaborative research center CROSSING for fundamental research in cryptography and security.
