Manolis Vlatakis Gkaragkounis

Emmanouil Vasileios (Manolis) Vlatakis Gkaragkounis is a am a Simons-FODSI Post-doctoral fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, working with Prof. Michael Jordan. He received his doctorate degree in Computer Science from Columbia University.

Before joining Columbia University, he has interned at "Athena" Research & Innovation Center in Athens, Greece. He received a Bachelor & MSc in ECE Department of National Technical University of Athens, where he was advised by Prof. Dimitris Fotakis.

His research interests include: Computation/Machine Learning Theory, Algorithmic Game Theory, Optimization, Computational Complexity and Beyond Worst-case Analysis of Algorithms.
