Kumar Krishna Agrawal

UC Berkeley

Kumar is a first year PhD student at Berkeley AI Research (BAIR), UC Berkeley.

Previously he was a researcher at Google Brain, part of the Google Brain Residency. His research is motivated by the need to design algorithms which are resource (data/compute) efficient and theoretically grounded. Broadly, he is interested in machine learning, robotics, and languages (programming/natural). He enjoys bringing together insights from fundamental research and algorithm design to build systems which work in the real world.

He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, majoring in mathematics and computing.
