Katharina Boudgoust

Graduate Student, Rennes University

Katharina Boudgoust is a graduate student pursuing her PhD in computer science with the EMSEC team at IRISA Laboratory in Rennes, France, under the supervision of Pierre-Alain Fouque and Adeline Roux-Langlois. She received her bachelor's degree from Heidelberg University and her master’s degree from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, both in Germany. Katharina completed her master's thesis “Polycyclic Groups and Applications in Cryptography” under the supervision of Frank Herrlich and Joern Mueller-Quade. Most recently, she was visiting Ron Steinfeld at the Cybersecurity Lab for the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Katharina’s research interests include lattice-based cryptography, particularly the computational hardness assumptions underlying lattice-based cryptosystems as LWE and its variants.
