Kamyar Azizzadenesheli

UC Irvine

Kamyar Azizzadenesheli is currently a Ph.D. student in the MEGA DatA Lab at UC Irvine, supervised by Prof. Anima Anandkumar. He received his BS in Electrical Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, and his MS in EECS from the University of California, Irvine. He works on machine learning, focusing on spectral methods and reinforcement learning. He is broadly interested in graphical models, latent variable models, Big Data, and non-convex optimization problems. In summer 2016, he was a visiting researcher at Microsoft Research New England and Microsoft Research New York. Afterward, he was a guest researcher at INRIA in Lille, France.
