John Watrous
Professor, University of Waterloo
John Watrous is a professor in the School of Computer Science and a faculty member of the Institute for Quantum Computing at the University of Waterloo. He received his PhD in 1998 from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. His research focuses on the theory of quantum information and its applications to algorithms, complexity theory, and cryptography; specific topics of his research include quantum interactive proof systems and quantum information theory.
