Jerzy Weyman

Jerzy Weyman received his PhD from Brandeis University in 1980, advised by David Buchsbaum. After working for five years at the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Weyman joined the faculty of Northeastern University in Boston. He assumed the position of Stuart and Joan Sidney professor in mathematics at University of Connecticut in August 2013. In 2011 Weyman was a recipient of Humboldt Research Prize.
