Jens Eisert

Professor, FU Berlin

Jens Eisert's research interests are in quantum information science, quantum optics, and the study of quantum many-body systems. He has been a full professor at the FU Berlin since 2011, after becoming lecturer at Imperial College London in 2005, and professor in Potsdam in 2008. He received his PhD in 2001, which was awarded the Michelson Prize. In 2004, he received the EURYI award and in 2012 an ERC consolidator award. He has authored more than 130 publications and has given more than 180 talks at workshops and conferences.
