Haque Ishfaq is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms (MILA) at McGill University, where he is advised by Professor Doina Precup. Before coming to McGill, he obtained his MS degree in Statistics and BS degree in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford University. In summer 2017, he did a research internship at Nvidia’s Applied Deep Learning Research group with Bryan Catanzaro. Before that he did data science internships at Silicon Studio and Verizon Labs.
