Haque Ishfaq

Haque Ishfaq is a PhD student at the Mila-Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute and McGill University, where he is advised by Professor Doina Precup. Before coming to McGill, he obtained his MS degree in statistics and his BS degree in mathematical and computational science from Stanford University. His research interests are in reinforcement learning theory, bandits, and online learning. Currently, his research focus is on exploration-exploitation trade-off in reinforcement learning with provable guarantees.
