Gioni Mexi

Gioni Mexi earned his MSc in Mathematics from the Technical University of Berlin in 2021. From 2018 to 2021, he worked as a student assistant at the Zuse Institute Berlin. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD as a member of the Mathematical Optimization Methods research group at the same institute. The group has a long-standing expertise in developing and implementing solver software that can handle a wide variety of optimization problems, including linear, mixed-integer linear, and nonlinear problems.
His research interests include primal heuristics, generalization of conflict analysis techniques in mixed-integer programming, and the integration of different solver technologies.
