Fulvio Gesmundo is a second year PhD student at Texas A&M University. His advisor is JM Landsberg. Gesmundo obtained his master's degree in 2012 in Florence, under the supervision of Giorgio Ottaviani. He is interested in algebraic geometry and tensor decomposition. Currently, he is working on the problem of matrix rigidity and on various related topics in algebraic geometry.
