Fei Shi

Graduate Student, Carnegie Mellon University

Xiaofei Shi is a fourth year PhD student in Mathematical Finance at Carnegie Mellon University. She received her BSc in Physics from Peking University and her MSc in Statistics and Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo. Xiaofei is interested in probability and stochastic analysis, with applications in theoretical computer science, mathematical finance and dynamical systems. She is also pursuing a secondary master's degree in Machine Learning, and has completed research in social choice theory as well as in computational complexity. At CMU, Xiaofei is a teaching assistant for both the BSCF and the MSCF programs.
