Ery Arias-Castro

Professor, UC San Diego

Ery Arias-Castro received his PhD in Statistics from Stanford University in 2004. He then spent a year as a joint postdoc at the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics (IPAM) and the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute (MSRI). He joined the faculty in the Mathematics Department at UC San Diego in 2005. His research interests are in statistics, machine learning, signal and image processing, and applied probability.
