Eren Şaşoğlu

Research Scientist Intel Labs, UC Berkeley

Eren Şaşoğlu received his BSc in electrical engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul in 2005, and his MSc and PhD  degrees in communication systems from EPFL in Lausanne in 2007 and 2011, respectively. He has been a postdoc since 2012, first at UCSD, and more recently at UC Berkeley. Şaşoğlu received the Jack K. Wolf ISIT Student Paper award in 2009 and EPFL's Best Doctoral Thesis Award in 2013. His research interests are in information and coding theories.
