Ellen Vitercik

Ellen Vitercik is a Miller fellow at UC Berkeley, hosted by Michael Jordan and Jennifer Chayes. Her research revolves around machine learning theory, algorithm design, and the interface between economics and computation.

Ellen received a PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Nina Balcan and Tuomas Sandholm. Her thesis won the CMU School of Computer Science Distinguished Dissertation Award.
