Elizabeth O’Neill

Elizabeth O'Neill is a research fellow at the Cornell Tech Digital Life Initiative from 2018 to 2019, and an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Eindhoven University of Technology. She obtained her PhD in 2015 from the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh, and did her undergraduate degree in biology and history at Brown University. Her current research is primarily in moral epistemology, moral psychology, and applied ethics. She is working on a three-year project on how to evaluate judgments of AI systems that reason about ethics.
