Eamonn Postlethwaite

Postdoctoral Researcher, Royal Holloway, University of London

Eamonn Postlethwaite received his MSci degree in mathematics from the Imperial College London, with a specialization in number theory and algebra. His research interests include lattice cryptology, cryptanalysis, and lattice sieves. He has also spent time designing space efficient quantum sieve type algorithms and quantum circuits for several sieving subroutines, in an effort to understand the interplay between practical quantum computing and algorithm design. Beyond his academic pursuits, Eamonn is an active member of his department’s competitive hacking team and enjoys theatre.
