Bart Kamphorst is a PhD student at the Dutch national research institute for mathematics and computer science (CWI) under the supervision of A.P. Zwart and N. Bansal. He received his BSc degree in mathematics and his MSc degree in applied mathematics from Leiden University. Kamphorst's research in the stochastics department of CWI is within the field of applied probability and explores the intersection of scheduling and queueing theory.
