Aryan Mokhtari

Aryan Mokhtari received a BSc in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran in 2011, and an MSc in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014. Since 2012, he has been working toward his PhD in the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. In summer 2010, he was an intern at the Advanced Digital Sciences Center, in Singapore. And in summer 2016, he was a research intern with the Big-Data Machine Learning group at Yahoo! Research in Sunnyvale. His research interests include the areas of optimization, machine learning, and signal processing. His current research focuses on developing methods for large-scale optimization problems.
